You do not need a teaching certificate.

 

You should have:

• A genuine interest in helping students

• Compassion and patience

• Reliability

• The willingness to allow TLLC to give you a background check

• The completion of two training sessions:
  --Orientation for New Volunteers
  --A study session in your subject area
