Linda continued:

 

Linda was a 36-year-old mother of three children when she suffered a massive stroke.   

 

Sixteen years later, a tutor from TLLC convinced Linda to seek tutoring.  “I’ll help you,” Bev said.  "It's free." 

 

Linda's reading scores show the great improvement she’s made in her studies.  She has progressed three achievement levels in reading, two levels in writing and has developed a fine cursive penmanship---using her left hand that had been affected by the stroke.

 

Linda's dedication and enthusiasm has led her to speak for TLLC and to help in the office as an administrative volunteer.
