Mission statement:
To promote and enhance literacy
efforts and to encourage volunteers to participate in all phases of this endeavor;
To promote the knowledge and appreciation of literacy for all individuals through educational
training and mass media exposure;
To acquire and administer funds as necessary,
which after payment of expenses, shall be devoted exclusively to the furtherance of the purposes set forth above.
